Complementary Therapies

Complementary therapy is known by many different terms, including alternative therapy, alternative medicine, holistic therapy and traditional medicine.

Historically, modern medicine evolved out of an assumption that the mind and body are separate. Disease and illness were viewed as mechanical breakdowns and, generally, it was these breakdowns and the symptoms they caused that were treated. Complementary therapies aim to treat the entire person, not just the symptoms.

Complementary therapies may:

  • help you feel better and improve your quality of life
  • improve your general health
  • give you a sense of control over what is happening to you
  • reduce stress, tension, sleeplessness, anxiety and depression, and make you feel in control

There are many types of complementary therapies available for people to try.  The therapies that I offer are;

Rahanni Celestial Healing and Reiki both of which are very effective. And most people find the sessions very beneficial and relaxing.
